Übelschlecht is the principal of Lycée Pas Bon and the overarching antagonist in Despicable Me 4.
Appearance and Abilities[]
Übelschlecht appears to be a short, feeble woman wearing a pink hat, matching clothes and a pair of round glasses.
As one of the oldest characters currently alive, Übelschlecht doesn't put up much of a fight, being highly reliant on technology and external tools, specifically her wheelchair and integrated security measures seen inside her office.
Personality[]
Übelschlecht's opinion of many others is unknown, but she presumably admires Maxime Le Mal's bold ambitions and overtness and even him becoming a cockroach and his revenge, to the point where she teamed up with Maxime to get back at Gru even telling him his whereabouts, She doesn’t like it when people steal the mascot and chased Gru down for doing so and could have possibly abused Lenny as Lenny would cower in fear when the principal comes to Grus house.
Plot[]
Übelschlecht was the head of Lycée Pas Bon, and a former colleague of Nefario.
Despicable Me 4[]
She first appears in the film to present Maxime Le Mal with an alumni villainy award.
She was alerted when Gru, Gru Jr., Poppy, Ron, Phil and Ralph are attempted to steal her pet. Despite her best efforts, the crew evaded her wrath. Aware of Gru's involvement, she tracked her pet to Gru's current residence and tipped off Maxime before heading off personally to confront him. However, this instead spooks Gru and Lucy, who return and fight her. Though Übelschlecht ends with the upper hand as Gru heads off to save his infant son, she was defeated off-screen and presumably incarcerated for attacking AVL agents.
Übelschlecht is seen alongside various other inmates in AVL's maximum security prison at the end of the film.
Despicable Me 4 Heist Obby (Roblox)[]
She appears in the final mission of the Story Mode with her big-wheeled wheelchair. You have to escape the school while she's chasing you and the characters mentioned above.
Trivia[]
- In the game, the principal's surname is spelled "Uberschlecht" but in the first trailer of the film, the surname is spelled "Übelschlecht". This might been an error on the game developer's behalf.
- "Übelschlecht" is German for "evil".
- Due to being voiced by a man, some viewers have mistakenly thought she was male.
