Coins (or Banana Coins) is a currency in the mobile game Minion Rush and were introduced in update 6.1.0 (5-Year Celebration update). They have the appearance of grey and blue discs with a yellow banana emblem. Like Bananas and Tokens, coins are used to purchase virtual items within the game such as costume cards in the Shop and unlock / upgrade costumes in the Wardrobe with the help of costume cards. The game has more than one currency, one being the coins and the rest are bananas, tokens, costume cards and of course real money.
There are multiple ways to get Coins. They can be bought in the Shop with Tokens as packs of 1,000, 10,000 and 100,000. They are also available inside the various pods and bundle offers available in the shop and after completing missions and during Special Missions, as well as surplus cards for maxed costumes. Each maxed common card converts into 200 coins, each maxed rare card converts into 800 coins, and each maxed epic card converts into 3,000 coins.
