Despicable Me 4 Heist Obby was a Roblox game that was released on June 7th, 2024 based on Despicable Me 4. In the game your Roblox avatar, Gru, Poppy, Gru Jr. and Phil would sneak into the villain school Lycée Pas Bon trying to steal the school mascot, Lenny the Honey Badger while collecting bananas. Then you could redeem the bananas for exclusive avatar items. There were 4 game modes in the game and the game was retired on August 1, 2024.

Despicable Me 4 Heist Obby had 4 game modes. New game modes were added every Friday up until the movies release date on July 3.
Story Mode[]
In the Story Mode, your Roblox avatar, Gru, Poppy, Gru Jr. and a Minion would sneak into the villain school Lycée Pas Bon, avoiding traps and lasers while trying to steal the school mascot, Lenny the Honey Badger. The character outside this portal was Gru and this gamemode was unlocked automatically. The Story Mode had 4 missions.

Race Mode[]
In the Race Mode, you tried to get to the end of an obstacle course on a scooter while dodging obstacles and collecting bananas, similarly to the Roblox game Obby But You're On A Bike. The character outside this portal was Phil and this gamemode was unlocked on June 14.

Party Mode[]
In the Party Mode, you would compete with other players to see who could reach the most checkpoints of an obstacle course while dodging obstacles and traps, similar to Fall Guys. The character outside the portal was an AVL Minion and this gamemode was unlocked on June 21.
Fall Mode[]
In the Fall Mode, you tried to get to the end of an obstacle course while dodging obstacles and collecting bananas, similarly to the Race Mode, minus the scooter. The character outside this portal was Poppy Prescott and this gamemode was unlocked on June 28th. This was the most efficient way to get bananas in the game, as bananas spawned in bundles of 10.

Game-Exclusive Items[]
Also to the left of the stage was a cage with Lenny the Honey Badger inside. To release Lenny, you had to interact with the cage. Then you could temporarily get Lenny as a shoulder pet while in the game.
To the right to the cage with Lenny lied a clothes rack. Interacting with it temporarily gave you a Despicable Me 4 T-shirt.
Group Rewards[]
If you joined the official Universal Pictures | DM4 group[2], you could claim 200 bananas for free. This only worked once.
Banana Stand[]
Every 5 minutes, you could claim 200 bananas from this stand.
Trivia[]
- This was the second Despicable Me-related event on Roblox after the Despicable Me 2 event.
- The creation date for the game was April 24, 2024. However, the game opened publicly on June 7, 2024.
- The honey badger's name is revealed to be Lenny in the game.
- In the game, the principal's surname was spelled "Uberschlecht" but in the movie, the surname is spelled "Übelschlecht". This might have been an error on the game developers behalf.
- The setting of the Fall Mode was based on the climax of the film.
- The missions in the Story Mode were different to the ones in the film.
- This was the third Despicable Me game to be retired.
