The I-Love-Gru Mel is a playable character in Minion Rush. It costs 50 costume cards and 10 coins to unlock or can be bought in occasional bundle offers in the Shop.
Trivia
- It was first released in 5.0.0 version on November 1, 2017.
- The costume's original coin price was 1,000, but the game makers changed it to 10 coins to help all players unlock it faster.
- In the previous version, Mel was a separate character in the game and had a unique spot in the Shop. Carl, Jerry and Mel didn't have costumes like Dave did but they had hats, therefore the name used to be Mel's I-Love-Gru Hat. Now all the characters have been unified under the Wardrobe section.
- I-Love-Gru Mel's old power (in the jelly lab versions) was additional time for all Power-Ups.
- Its skills were enhanced upon the release of the game update v.6.4.0 (formerly 25%-200%, step 25%, currently 30%-240%, step 30%).
