Edith playfully points the laser gun at Gru briefly before Gru snatches it away from her. She obliterates Agnes' old unicorn with it. This iteration of the Laser Gun resembles a full-sized firearm with the length of a rifle.
Despicable Me 2[]
Gru uses his pistol laser to cut a hole into the roof of the kitchen at the Salsa & Salsa, saving him and Lucy Wilde from Eduardo Perez's wrath.

- Strangely, in DM2, the laser appears to be fired from the weapon's sight attachment, unlike real laser sights which only supplement aiming.
