Lisa is a character that appears in Gru's flashback in Despicable Me 2. Although she was unaware, Gru had a huge crush on her in elementary school.
Appearance[]
Lisa has light blond hair with a head band on top. She wears a long skirt wrapped with a belt and long, orange socks and purple shoes.
Despicable Me 2[]
Lisa appears briefly in Despicable Me 2 in Gru's flashback after being asked if he's afraid of women. Lisa is shown talking to her friend about a boy she likes while Gru is trying to get her attention. When Gru touches her on the back, everyone freaks out and one girl says that Lisa has gotten "Gruties" which were a fictional disease based on cooties.
Training Wheels[]
Lisa (or at least a girl who resembles her) is seen riding on her bike with Margo and Edith, while Agnes is left behind. She is also shocked when Agnes comes out on her new bike, and after the Jewel Thief carjacked the ice cream truck, she watches as Agnes goes after him, she then enjoys the raining of ice cream.
Despite her appearance, however, her name is not mentioned at all in the mini-movie.

- Lisa's friend mentions to her the moon landing on TV, which means that she and Gru both went to school in the 60s. Specifically, 1969, the year men landed on the moon for the first time.
- This would mean both Gru and Lisa would be around 8 or 9 years old, based on Minions, where Gru was 8 years old.
- It is unclear whether if the girl seen in Training Wheels was Lisa or not, since she and her friend were kids from Gru's childhood. It is possible that her model was reused for the mini-movie.
