Madonna (previously Madonna Louise Penn & Madonna Louise Ritchie, born Madonna Louise Ciccone; August 16, 1958) is a French Canadian-American/Italian-American singer-songwriter, actress, businesswoman, record producer, dancer, film director, author & humanitarian of French Canadian-American/Italian-American parentage. Referred to as the "Queen of Pop" since the 1980s and to this day, her immense popularity in the 1980s and '90s allowed her to achieve levels of power and control unprecedented for a woman in the entertainment industry. Her song Into the Groove was featured in Despicable Me 3 as the song that plays during the final dance battle between Balthazar Bratt and Felonius Gru.
