Hi, I need you to do a little favor for me. There are some pages that are currently protected and can be only edited by admins, and they are yet categorized, as seen here. They are pages about future soundtrack, so they can be added with Category:Soundtracks.
What you need to do is to add "Soundtrack" category in the page (you may know what I mean about categories, since Minion Rush costume pages are always with the category "Minion Rush Costume"), and then leave it. I don't think you or I have enough knowledge to expand it, but they are now under admin protection from fan-made content.
Ok, I got it. All pending soundtrack pages have been modified. Mind you, there's still the Despicable Me 3/Soundtrack that is listed under Article Stabs / Soundtracks but when I edit it, it only shows Soundtracks. Don't know what it's for.
Hi. Yes, I was originally promised to be an admin, but I was given moderator's rights instead. I took it as a decision on their part as a temporary measure before they trusted me enough for admin rights. In fact, what I am now able to do is enough for what I intend to do for this wiki. I have zero experience over leadership of wiki's, farily moderate knowledge on wiki code language and not much interest on the parts outside Minion Rush game. I am doing my very best to keep this website afloat and I value any kind of help.
Congratulations on your new assignments. You not only became an admin but also a bureaucrat so soon. I hope you are as dedicated as the original bureaucrats and admins and share the same view of keeping this website decent and consistent.
So, to answer your question, I'm not too keen on becoming an admin. I wouldn't know what to do that I don't already do. But if I see something that needs to be done and I can't because of my limited rights, I will ask you to change my status.
Thanks for the reply, I can tell you that I have zero leader experience of an active wiki, and I do not know much about codes and stuff. It's a happy thing that you know some, lets maintain it together,
You’re welcome. I wasn’t alone in this anyway but the more active members cooperate, the better. I often get corrections by Oganesson whom I trust, which has given me a certain aspect of how he wants things done and I maintain the same standard as long as I agree with past decisions on the format. What I want you to do is monitor any funny activity aiming to misuse or make fun of this work. I monitor a number of pages I contributed in, but can’t hold the rest of the fort. I don’t have all the time in the world. Some pages are easier than others. I learned to copy code from other places and paste to the right places. Gradually I learned to spot errors that cause tables to break. If you see anything looking funny graphically wise, feel free to ask me for help.
I saw you've updated some pages about Jelly Lab areas, I really appreciate that. Although, it appears that the Area 74 is still blank. I haven't played Minion Rush for weeks, so I don't know what newer areas are like. However, my suggestion is that I wouldn't create a new page for them if the area doesn't exist yet, and it may be misleading for people as if it were an existing new area.
In fact, I may quit the game for good because my interest has shifted. I'm sorry that I may not be able to help you on this wiki, but I guess it's about time for me to move on. I think you can promote more about the wiki on the Facebook group if you like, because you may be able to find assistants to do the job together, just like how I found you.
Hey. Nice to hear from you. Area 73 is currently the last playable area and level 1053 is the last level. I always build the template for the following area and make it available to see in order to alert people to either wait for the next update or submit it themselves if it becomes available.
As for the Facebook page, the last couple of updates I make posts reminding players to visit the wikia. I know you're busy and probably don't have time to follow the fb page either, but it's there. I help promote any updates I make as much as possible. I often get notifications that others contribute to the wikia and I review them one by one.
If you know much enough about the game, you should know that the game is often glitchy so you may see that. However, even if you got that apk or whatever app pack of the game, it may be invalid because you never know if Gameloft removed that bug.
The purple surfer was only found in game version 1.6.0. The apk file can be found online, but you would need the offline data to make it playable, since the veteran game servers are down. Just note that if you manage to find the offline data and play the game online, a pop up message will appear forcing you to download the current update and when you do, you'll get a permanent ban.
