The Miniature UFO is a sentient spacecraft from the Sirius system.[1][2] It was adopted by Dave as a puppy of sorts.
Plot
The miniature UFO somehow ended up on Earth. One day, the UFO "abducts" a ladybug from a being's hand. That being, Dave, is fascinated by the machine and feeds it cheeseballs. The UFO and Dave bond over a period of time, sharing memories together like the discovery that the spacecraft can enlarge objects. One day, as the UFO is watching an movie about aliens with Dave and his family, it sees the movie's UFO getting attacked by tanks. Enraged, the tiny spacecraft blows up the TV and for its trouble, gets kicked out with Dave by Dave's master, Felonius Gru. The Minion and UFO decide to stargaze. The "puppy" draws shapes into the skies, such as a butt, and draws where its home is. It admits to Dave that it misses home.
Sometime later, Dave attempts to get the "puppy" outside to see something. The UFO, reluctantly stepping outside, is overjoyed to find his kind greeting him. Unbeknownst to the spacecraft, Dave had sent an email to the star system where the UFO is from. It departs somewhat sadly but not before giving the "puppy" abducted when the UFO first met Dave.
Trivia
- Dave's e-mail quietly confirms that the UFO comes from the Sirius system. This doubles as a reference to the fact it is a "puppy"- the UFO's star is the "Dog Star".
