Sing 2 is the sequel to Sing produced by Illumination, and was released by Universal Pictures on December 22, 2021.

Premise[]

In Sing 2, Buster Moon and his cast of underdogs push their talents beyond their local theater, hoping for a shot to perform at the most prestigious venue in the entertainment capital of the world: The Crystal Tower Theater in glamorous Redshore City. But with no connections, they'll first have to sneak into Crystal Entertainment Offices and impress the powerful, ruthless and egotistical entertainment mogul, Jimmy Crystal, to prove that they are worthy of performing in his theater. Crystal will let them perform, on the condition that the world’s most reclusive rock legend, lion Clay Calloway, be in the show. Its up to Buster to get Clay out of his self-imposed seclusion and persuade him to return to the stage.
