Slides are an item that appear in Minion Rush. They are unavoidable, except for the tall pool slide in the Residential Area. They appear in every location in the game except for Super Silly Fun Land (replaced with a rollercoaster as the secret area) and Downtown (discontinued for iOS and Android). In Gru's Lab, El Macho's Lair, Vector's Fortress, and the Anti-Villain League, the player must avoid gaps, which are places that have a space in between them. The locations that have wet slides are Residential Area (minion goes into pool after going off of the slide), The Mall, but not The Arctic Base because the slide is frozen in ice, Eduardo's House, Minion Park, Prison (with bubbles popping out), Bratt's Lair (instead of water, it's actually power from most likely his Keytar), Pier 12, and that's all for wet water slides. On the beginning and end of the slide in El Macho's Lair, there are torch statues on the left and right. In Minion Beach, The Pyramids and Freedonia, the player must take the springs up to the slides. There were some jelly lab levels that asks the players to use the slides, which those objectives are discontinued as of the 5-Year Celebration update. Other than gaps, slides may also have obstacles (The locations for this are The Mall, The Arctic Base, and Pier 12.) In Prison, the water bubbles are not obstacles, you will not die if you hit them, but then they splash at you and makes the path blurry for 0 seconds. Also, in The Volcano, the slides are most likely wooden or made of a log.
