Surname

Should it be Gru? A lot of the time family pets hare surnames, like for example w:c:WordGirl:Bob Botsford. One would think Felonius would have affixed it, or Agnes after being adopted. +Yc 03:53, March 21, 2014 (UTC)

Origin

I'm pretty sure that, given the backstory of the first Depicable Me and the nature of stereotypical villains, that this guy is supposed to be genetically modified, and not a natural organism.  Should we suggest something like this in the trivia? If this something you speculate instead of the fact revealed from the producers, then it shouldn't be in article. "May be" things are unreliable and may be quite different from person to person, so please avoid that especially there's no official evidence. - Oganesson (talk) 02:29, August 13, 2017 (UTC)
