This Question Might Be Confusing.

What is the REAL name of Lucy? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wes Jaren 23 (talkcontribs) 12:16, July 21, 2013 (UTC)

Her former name is called Lucy Wilde (already mentioned in the article). Also please remember to sign with four tildes whenever you leave a message on a talk page. Superific6 12:16, July 21, 2013 (UTC)

What could of been the villianous thing Lucy did to get into the AVL? {{SUBST:User:Mattfan120/Signature}} 17:46, July 22, 2013 (UTC)

^ AVL stands for Anti-Villian League. Its "good" and wants to stop "evil". You don't get into it by doing crimes. Bignatebig (talk) 20:01, July 24, 2013 (UTC)

I Don't know Lucy's Real Name Captain MARIOWORLDXX (talk) 00:22, October 15, 2013 (UTC)

Lucy Wilde is Lucy Wilde. Nothing suggests that this name is just her alias. And honestly, we don't know if legally she changed her last name after marriage (although it'll probably end up being most likely). What we do know is the family survived the wedding (damn Purple Minion!) Baker78 (talk) 06:18, October 15, 2013 (UTC)

Yeah thats why we just made this page "Lucy Wilde" instead of  "Lucy Gru" or "Lucy Wilde Gru".

2017 discussion[]

"Lucy Wilde Gru" is impossible.

Just reverted that one. This family name changing thing is really annoying. - Oganesson (talk) 04:23, September 17, 2017 (UTC)

Lucy Wilde aren't the part of the Felonious Gru's family until Gru married her,so names changed to Lucy Gru or Lucy Wilde Gru is impossible. But,something wrong......The name of Gru's parents both had "Gru" words inside their names. But why Lucy's full name is not Lucy Gru or Lucy Wilde Gru?

LucyWildey (talk) 07:30, September 18, 2017 (UTC)

It's a personal choice, though most English-speaking people still change the family name upon marrying. It's not even a problem at the place where I live, since females rarely change their family name to their husbands', both in history and modern times (As of now, such acts would be considered as discrimination sometimes). In fact, in Chinese and Korean history, marriage between couples of same family name used to be discouraged or forbidden. - Oganesson (talk) 13:35, September 18, 2017 (UTC)
